SCOTTISH Rugby president Andy Irvine says it is a straight choice between Frank Hadden and Steve Bates for the national coach’s job.

Glasgow coach Hugh Campbell withdrew from the process, leaving Border Reivers’ Bates and Edinburgh Gunners’ Hadden to be interviewed on Monday.
