Pressure on Ireland to win opener, says Italian coach Bollesan

ITALY general manager Marco Bollesan believes all the pressure will be on Ireland during Saturday’s opening RBS 6 Nations clash at Lansdowne Road.

The Azzurri face a mammoth task in trying to claim their first ever away win in the competition, but Bollesan is happy with the tag of underdog.

The Italians are expected to play a forward-based game, while the Irish will look to the likes of Brian O’Driscoll and Geordan Murphy in their three-quarter line. Bollesan is confident his team can exploit any mistakes the home side may make.
