O’Driscoll Biarritz signing is imminent

THE Brian O’Driscoll saga dragged on again at the weekend, with strong rumours suggesting the Irish captain is about to sign for French club Biarritz within weeks before a move there next season.

Denials by his father and agent, Frank, that a move is on have apparently been refuted by French agent Christian Joyard, credited with setting up a highly public trip to Biarritz two weeks ago.

A newspaper article last week, quoting Mr O’Driscoll senior apparently discredited Joyard, but the Frenchman was yesterday reported to have been at the player’s side from the time he arrived in Biarritz until he returned to Dublin.
