O’Gara: There’s quality all over our side

THEY stood side by side, old comrades of many a battles with Munster and Ireland. Though they’d seen countless ups and downs together, this game would be hard to beat: a second Triple Crown in three years and victory over England at Twickenham. O’Gara: There’s quality all over our side

O’Gara said: “Shaggy [Shane Horgan] is an incredible finisher and I don’t think anybody (else) on the pitch would have got that winning score.

“It was an exceptional score and huge credit must go to him. It was one of the most important tries we have ever scored. I wouldn’t put too much focus on the conversion. To be honest, I didn’t know what the score was. I had to look up to see it was 26-24 so I had to tune in to the fact that if I kicked the conversion, it was game over because we had given away six points from two restarts and that was going through my head running back.”
