Gregan ready for tour

Australia captain George Gregan has declared he is available for the forthcoming tour of Europe.

Gregan’s participation was in doubt after his son Max was recently diagnosed with epilepsy, but although the scrum-half confirmed he would quit the tour if the situation worsened, he does expect to lead the Wallabies in matches against Scotland, France and England in November.

“It’s obviously a difficult time for the family and one of the most difficult decisions I’ve had to make, but they’ll be okay,” he said.
