Shannon channel resentment in right direction

SHANNON kept alive their slim hopes of retaining the AIB League when they recovered from a bad start to outplay Blackrock College by 31-10 at Stradbrook on Saturday.

They swarmed all over the ‘Rock line in the dying minutes but a combination of selfishness by one or two players and some dogged defence combined to keep them out.

Nevertheless, Shannon coach Geoff Moylan actually made a positive out of missing the fifth point, believing that it will help to make the side try all the harder.
