Robinson rallies English troops

ENGLAND boss Andy Robinson has rallied the struggling world champions for their Twickenham showdown with France by targeting a minimum “20% improvement” from his players.

England’s RBS 6 Nations Championship title hopes, already fading following their 11-9 defeat against Wales, will disappear if France record a first win at Twickenham since 1997 tomorrow .

A French triumph would also condemn England to a third successive championship loss - they lost the final game of last season’s tournament in Paris - and that has not happened for 18 years.
