England’s first away victory in two years

ITALY may have made the world champions sweat, but England coach Andy Robinson insisted his side’s 31-16 victory in the Six Nations on Saturday was never in any doubt.

The Italians led 9-7 early in the second half before England stepped up several gears to claim their second win in as many matches following their success against Wales last week.

Asked if it was relief he was feeling, Robinson replied: "I wouldn't call it relief because I thought our second-half performance was excellent.
