Bohs ladies best

The women of UL-Bohemian won their fourth consecutive AIL Division One title, defeating Blackrock 34-15 in Clonmel yesterday.

In terrible conditions, Bohs turned around 13-10 ahead thanks to a try from Lynne Cantwell and two kicks from Sarah-Jane Belton but an excellent 20 minute second half spell, with two more tries, was enough to see them through.

Clonakilty were crowned Division Two champions as they beat Navan 7-0 with a try from Deirdre Scannell proving decisive.
