Hogg to take his revenge

FLANKER Ally Hogg will be on a personal revenge mission when Scotland launch their Six Nations campaign against tournament favourites France at Murrayfield on Sunday.

The encounter will take place exactly a year after the Scots, and Hogg in particular, were denied a slice of glory against the same opponents in Paris.

Hogg and his mates had gone into battle as overwhelming underdogs. But close to the end of a brilliant display, he and the large contingent of visiting supporters were convinced he had romped in for the clinching try.
