Gaffney fears the worst on Cullen injury

MUNSTER coach Alan Gaffney is facing an attacking crisis a month before the province’s Heineken Cup quarter-final against Biarritz.

All Black full-back Christian Cullen will undergo an MRI scan today on a shoulder injury picked up in Munster’s 30-20 Celtic League defeat in Cardiff on Saturday, which could force Gaffney’s hand ahead of the player deadline this week for the knock-out stages of the Heineken Cup.

Thursday is D-Day for adding two players to the squad for the Heineken Cup quarter-finals.
