Kilfeacle go clear of the pack

KILFEACLE have gone clear at the top of the First Division of the Heineken Munster Junior League and their clash with second place Bruff in two weeks time, looks like having a big bearing on the destination of this season’s title.

Kilfeacle moved to top spot with a 29-0 win away to St Senan’s. Derek Ryan put the visitors ahead with a penalty after seven minutes and tries from Ger Breen and Philip McLaughlin and a Ryan conversion made it 15-0 at half time.

McLaughlin and Trevor Byrnes added second-half tries and Ryan converted both for a deserved win.
