SCOTT MURRAY has revealed hearing his team-mates moan about their individual displays against England cheered him after being forced to watch the Calcutta Cup win from the stands.

The Edinburgh lock returns to the Scotland starting 15 against Ireland today after being banned for the famous Murrayfield victory a fortnight ago.

Murray was gutted not to have his sending off against Wales overturned and despite receiving letters of support, was miserable watching his team-mates triumph play without him.
