Laporte hopes fear will motivate French

FRANCE coach Bernard Laporte has urged his side to use the fear factor to beat England on Sunday in their RBS 6 Nations Championship clash.

The defending champions produced a poor performance on Saturday at the Stade de France where they needed 50 minutes to score their first points against Scotland, widely considered the weakest team in the competition.

France eventually claimed victory after Damien Traille's late try gave them a 16-9 triumph.
