Waterpark top Div 3 after win over Ballina

WATERPARK surged to the top of the third division with a well deserved win over Ballina at Ballinakill on Saturday.

As Instonians moved into second place it was, however, a disappointing weekend for Corinthians who were forced into a draw at home by lowly Suttonians. It was an ideal opportunity for Corinthians to strengthen their position at the top but they now have to be satisified with third position, just below Instonians on points difference.

West Cork side, Clonakilty, continue to shine in the division and they had little difficulty in disposing of the challenge put up by Queens University at Shannonvale Cross. Clonakilty netted a bonus point by scoring five tries and won by 37 points to 13.
