Twickers Test is the real homecoming

ENGLAND’S World Cup-winning rugby team are ‘coming home’ on Saturday and captain Lawrence Dallaglio admitted yesterday that he cannot wait for the first Twickenham Test match since the Sydney triumph.

The fact that an in-form Ireland team provide the opposition and a genuine threat to England's record 22-match winning run at Twickenham only adds to the occasion.

"It's the first time you step onto the field at Twickenham as world champions and that must mean a huge amount to the players and the fans," said Dallaglio.
