Munster will be a force for years to come, says Gaffney

ALAN GAFFNEY may be headed for greener pastures in Australia, but he’s damned if Munster won’t one day win the Heineken Cup.

Yesterday, in the aftermath of Munster’s Heineken Cup exit, he said the game is in safe hands in the province and the age profile of the current team should not be a worrying factor.

“I am absolutely positive that Munster will be a force for years to come, I’ve no doubts about that. There are a lot of young players coming through. We have identified a good number of players and are bringing them through the development process.
