Doping verdict sees Rourke suspended

BLACKPOOL Panthers’ three-quarter Gary Rourke has been suspended until September 25 after being found guilty of taking a banned substance by the Rugby Football League.

Rourke provided a sample containing ephedrine after Blackpool’s Northern Rail Cup match against Rochdale Hornets on February 27.
