Wallace back in favoured position for Dragons clash
Wallace, who starred at number eight in the province’s 24-3 win over Ulster last weekend, will welcome a return to his favoured position as he bids for a return to the international fold.
Hooker James Blaney makes his seasonal debut in one of five changes from the Ravenhill win. Blaney replaces Jerry Flannery while Australian Tom Bowman fills in for Donncha O’Callaghan who is on international duty.
Jim Williams takes over from the injured Alan Quinlan while Rob Henderson is recalled to form a midfield partnership with Shaun Payne. Anthony Horgan is named in the back three selection, with Jason Holland, who captained Munster last week and James Storey both ruled out.
Declan Kidney has named a 24-man squad for Sunday’s Celtic League clash against the Llanelli Scarlets in Wales. Victor Costello, out-half David Holwell and wing forward Shane Jennings all return from injury.
Meanwhile, Paul Rowley (St. Munchin’s) replaces Sam Cronin (PBC) for the Munster Schools interpro tie against Leinster at Thomond Park on Wednesday. Munster lost their opening game (0-10) to Ulster last weekend.
