Boks bounce back for hard-fought win over Pumas

Argentina 23 South Africa 34

A late try by Juan Smith sealed the victory but fullback Percy Montgomery contributed 18 points to see his side home in sunny conditions and in front of a near-capacity crowd.

The Pumas shocked the Boks when they took an early lead, but their discipline declined in the second half and Jake White’s men took control.
