Latham out of Australia's tour

CHRIS LATHAM has been ruled out of Australia's tour to Argentina, Britain and Ireland next month after being injured in a freak accident.

The Wallaby full-back rolled his right ankle while playing with his young daughter in the garden of their Brisbane home, damaging the lateral ligaments.

“It’s very disappointing to miss this tour but in reality I would only be an outside chance to play England, which is the third match out of four," Latham said.
