Injured Wallace keeps close eye on rivals Leamy, Gleeson

INJURED Irish flanker David Wallace is looking forward to making his comeback early in January.

Wallace, out with a shoulder injury, has been watching from the touchlines as Denis Leamy and Keith Gleeson blaze a successful trail at both inter-provincial and international levels.

Wallace yesterday paid tribute to Munster youngster Leamy. “He is a class act and I will have to go through a bit of a sweat to get into the squad for the knock out stages of the Heineken Cup.
