Borders warm-up for Munster

MUNSTER will begin their preparation for the Heineken Cup quarter-final meeting with Leicester with a game against Scottish Borders in Thomond Park next Wednesday (7.30).

The cancellation of the 'A' international means Munster will have those players available and they will also bring Paul O'Connell, Anthony Horgan and Dominic Crotty back into the fold.

Horgan returned to action last weekend when he played at full-back for Cork Constitution against Sunday’s Well and his rehabilitation will continue this weekend when he turns out for his club in the AIB League against Co Carlow at Temple Hill.

O'Connell will be involved with the national squad in the coming days and he hopes to be in the Young Munster side that plays Dolphin in Musgrave Park on Saturday.
