Thirty-six schools will each be represented by a panel of 15 children, who will play ten-a-side, 20 minute games. The focus of the blitz centres on the demonstration of “Fair play” rather than winning, with the children encouraged to improve their team skills in a non-competitive environment.

Four teams will be chosen by the referees on the day to go forward to the Munster Extravaganza in Limerick on March 29. Similar regional events are taking place throughout the province, and four teams from each county in the province will take part in the Extravaganza.
