All blacks warm-up against Fiji

NEW ZEALAND will prepare for the Test series against the Lions with a warm-up match against Fiji.

The contest will take place at North Harbour Stadium in Albany on Friday June 10, the day before the Lions take on New Zealand Maori in Hamilton.

The NZRU also confirmed that next year’s All Blacks trial will be played at McLean Park in Napier on June 3 as part of the preparation for matches against the Fijians and the Lions.

“We saw the value of a trial match this year and we know the challenges that Fiji pose and so these games will also be important for us in our build-up for the Lions,” said All Blacks coach Graham Henry.
