Provinces to get equal share of tickets

SUNDAY, April 23 is likely to be confirmed today as the date of the Heineken Cup’s first all-Irish semi-final.

Provinces to get equal share of tickets

The Leinster-Munster clash at Lansdowne Road will be a 49,000 sell-out, and ERC officials confirmed last night that tickets would be equally distributed to the provinces for the game. Because of the pre-determined semi-final draws, organisers say that ticket distribution should begin as early as this week through the branch network in Leinster and Munster.

“Because we were able to plan for this eventuality [an all-Irish semi-final], the tickets roll out should be done very quickly,” confirmed a spokesperson.
