Closure would be a disaster, says Campbell

FORMER Irish rugby star Ollie Campbell believes the possible closure of Thomond Park would be a disaster for sport in this country.

With questions about the future of the ground, Campbell hopes the problems associated with its development will be solved.

“Quite honestly, if Thomond Park were to close, it would be a disaster. A huge slice of Irish rugby tradition would be gone forever,” he said.
