Foley bracing for comeback

ANTHONY FOLEY will know this afternoon whether his international career is to be reactivated at the Stade de France on Saturday.

Having been omitted from the three November internationals and from the squad for last Saturday's Six Nations opener against Italy, it looked as if Foley's service record for the national side was over.

Although he didn't name him in the unchanged 22-man squad for Paris, coach Eddie O'Sullivan revealed that Foley would replace Denis Leamy if the Cashel man is suspended the latter was cited for a stamping incident in the Italy game and a decision on his punishment, if any, will be made today.
