Ladies kick off the season

The female rugby players of Munster and Leinster got their interprovincial campaigns off to perfect starts on Saturday, both easing to victories in Ravenhill and Galway respectively.

Munster completely outclassed Ulster 45-7, with Lynne Cantwell in sublime form.

The UL-Bohemians and Ireland flyer ended the game with three tries and was joined on the scoresheet by club colleagues Patrique Kelly and Sarah-Jane Belton with Shannon’s Vivian Boland also chipping in.
