Gissing to make 50th appearance

LOCK forward Ben Gissing is in line to make his 50th appearance for Leinster in their Celtic League meeting with The Borders on Saturday.

Gissing is included in Declan Kidney’s provisional squad for the weekend trip to Galashiels.

David Holwell, Felipe Contepomi, Victor Costello, Emmett Byrne, David Blaney, Ricky Nebbett, Kieran Lewis, Ciaran Potts and Aidan McCullen are also named.

All were all involved in the squad that defeated Treviso 57-17 last weekend. Gary Brown, Christian Warner and David Quinlan return after injury.

Lansdowne second row Kristian Kos and Blackrock College’s David Gannon are also included.
