Hickie: prophets of doom were wrong

DENIS HICKIE relishes the prospect of playing in a Heineken Cup semi-final against Munster for a variety of reasons.

The Irish international and Leinster winger is as interested in the broader national picture as he is in helping his province into their first European Cup final in Cardiff next month.

“I have spoken to some of the Munster players after our respective matches last weekend and everyone seems positive,” he said.
