Thomond Park to reopen

AS repair work on the damage to Thomond Park, home of Munster rugby, continues, the scheduled reopening day later this month is still on target, according to senior officials.

The senior Limerick club, Shannon RFC, who are based at Thomond Park, said they are confident the pitch will be playable for their first home game on October 22.
