Cronje cleared

Springbok lock Geo Cronje has been cleared of racism by a South African Rugby Football Union (Sarfu) disciplinary committee investigation.

Cronje allegedly refused to share a room with black team-mate Quinton Davids before last year's World Cup.

The Sarfu probe confirmed the findings of an initial inquiry which did not find conclusive proof of racism. The inquiry also recommended that no action be taken over the controversial 'Kamp Staaldraad' training camp.
