Emotional week sees Wood back for Quins

KEITH WOOD will pull on the Harlequins No 2 jersey today, following an emotional roller-coaster week which saw his brother Gordon die and his first child, Alex, born.

Wood withdrew from Ireland's international with Romania last weekend, but has agreed to play against Leeds Tykes despite the obvious pressures generated by both family events.

He admitted yesterday: "It has been a very strange few days and there was no way in the world I could have played for Ireland it wouldn't have been right. I was in a total heap but now it's time to move things forward."
