Stringer should be passed fit to tour

IRISH centre Rob Henderson has been ruled out of the summer tour after sustaining a calf injury in training yesterday.

His position in the squad will be taken by Mike Mullins of Munster.

The news though is more positive for Peter Stringer who should be passed fit for the Irish tour to Australia, Tonga and Samoa, according to coach Eddie O’Sullivan.
