MUNSTER rugby chiefs will turn their back on a bumper pay-day of nearly €700,000 to keep their Heineken Cup dream on track.

Branch officials and team management want the quarter-final against Stade Francais to be played at Thomond Park rather than Lansdowne Road.

This will mean the branch will share the €234,000 gate money with Stade Francais, rather than the €1.2 million from Lansdowne Road.
