Willemse a shock inclusion

Ashwin Willemse is a shock inclusion by South Africa coach Jake White in the team to play Wales at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium next Saturday.

Willemse, last year’s SA Rugby Player of the Year, has not played any rugby since injuring his knee in a Springbok warm-up match in Kimberley ahead of the Irish Tests in June.

He has undergone knee and ankle surgery and White said that he has such faith in the winger’s ability and positive influence on the rest of the team that he has decided to put him straight back into the starting XV.
