Staunton batters Bristol
For while new coach Alan Gaffney fielded an experimental side and used 29 players for his first match since taking over from Declan Kidney, the Munster scoring spree was topped and tailed by old warhorse Mick Galwey who belied his semi-retirement status with tries at either end of the second half.
And in between came two tries from fly-half Jeremy Staunton and another from substitute full-back Kevin O’Riordan.
