TG4 to screen Cheltenham preview show on Saturday

TG4 will screen its annual preview of the Cheltenham Festival on Saturday, March 7 at 5.55pm. The 30-minute magazine style preview, presented by Denis Kirwan, will also be shown on Monday at 7.30pm.
The programme looks at the principal Gold Cup contenders from both sides of the Irish Sea. It features a visit to trainer Ben Pauling, who is preparing King George Chase winner The Jukebox Man. Nicky Henderson, who trains Jango Baie, also gives his view on the feature race.
Gordon Elliott reflects on his strong challenge at this year’s meeting while Eddie and Patrick Harty discuss Irish Panther’s Festival prospects.
The TG4 preview looks back on Dawn’s Run history making Cheltenham Gold Cup win 40 years ago and also provides a selection of tips ahead of the four-day meeting.
