Gordon Elliott is a force to be reckoned with at any venue but he’s always especially formidable at Navan and looks set to enjoy another super Saturday at his local track this weekend.

His most likely winner comes in the feature, the BOYLE Sports Webster Cup Chase, where, back in Grade Two company, Found A Fifty should be too good for his three rivals.

Found A Fifty has run five times this season, winning twice, with his three defeats coming in Grade One company.

He began his campaign in the Champion Chase at Down Royal at the start of November, finishing fourth to Envoi Allen in a race that showed three miles was beyond him.

He was then dropped in class and trip for his next two starts, beating Dinoblue by five lengths in the Fortria Chase at Navan before taking the notable scalp of Majborough in the Hilly Way Chase at Cork in December.

Pitched back into Grade One company at Leopardstown at Christmas, he trailed in fourth, 21 lengths behind Solness before finishing 19 lengths behind Majborough when third at the Dublin Racing Festival last time out.

He should find Saturday’s shallower waters far more to his liking and it’ll be a surprise he fails to record his third Grade Two success of the season.

In receipt of 5lbs from his three rivals, James Du Berlais can give the selection most to think about.

Elliott should also collect in the Grade Three Flyingbolt Novice Chase where the consistent Jacob's Ladder should be hard to beat.

The seven-year-old has won two of his last three starts, his most recent success coming in handicap company at the Dublin Racing Festival.

If he’s in the same form on Saturday, his rivals will be playing for second.

San Hilario is an Elliott-trained horse without a win this season but he can put that right by winning the Navan Maiden Hurdle.

Second in three of his last four starts, all in handicap company, this looks a cracking chance for him to get off the mark.

A impressive winner of a handicap chase last time out, Showurappreciation could be very well-treated back over the smaller obstacles and the Jonathan Sweeney-trained eight-year-old can prove that to be the case by winning the BOYLE Sports Money Back On Every Race At Cheltenham Handicap Hurdle.

Galileo Dame remains a maiden over hurdles but in three of those five runs she has found only one too good and the Joseph O’Brien-trained five-year-old can end her frustrating run of seconditis by coming out on top in the Pick Your Places At BOYLE Sports Mares Maiden Hurdle.
