Five five-furlong races followed by two 14-furlong contests can only mean that the day’s action is in Navan, and the nap goes to Lunigiana, who can finally get off the mark in the Navan Racing Festival Early Bird Tickets On Sale Now Maiden.
Seven placings in ten outings should sound warning bells for punters but this looks like her best opportunity to date, and it will be disappointing if she fails to deliver. Her two runs to date this season have been over six furlongs and she drops back in trip this time, but the testing conditions over the minimum will bring out the best in her.
