Adela Icon can take another step in right direction

Runner-up in two of her three starts in bumpers when trained by Harry Kelly, she joined Willie Mullins and made her debut for the stable in January.

Bellewstown switches focus to jumps racing, from last night’s fare on the level, and while Adela Icon is anything but a stable star in Closutton, she can put a second hurdling win on her card by taking the Panda Mares’ Hurdle.

Runner-up in two of her three starts in bumpers when trained by Harry Kelly, she joined Willie Mullins' yard and made her debut for the stable in January. A disappointing joint-favourite that day, she fared much better when winning a maiden hurdle at Punchestown on her next start.
