Composing can continue upward curve by completing hat-trick at Curragh

An uncomplicated sort with a good draw and likely to go forward from the outset, Composing can take the next step towards a Group 1 bid.

Composing is a filly on a steep upward curve and she can complete her hat-trick with victory in the Group 2 Alpha Centauri Debutante Stakes, one of the twin features on this afternoon’s card in the Curragh.

Aidan O’Brien’s Wootton Bassett filly clearly needed the run on debut, when she finished fifth behind Balantina, with whom she renews rivalry, but she showed the benefit of the outing by beating Cape Sounion, who had finished three places in front of her on debut, in a maiden over today’s course and distance.
