Clarens, trained locally by John Flavin for the Miracle Racing Syndicate, notched a second course and distance success when defying top-weight in the incident-packed Vince Power Memorial Handicap Chase at Tramore on Friday evening.

Enterprisingly ridden by in-form Darragh O’Keeffe, he held off Itsalonglongroad by two lengths.
