TG4 will screen a 30-minute preview of the 2025 Punchestown festival on Friday at 9.35pm. It will be repeated on Sunday at 11.40am and available on the TG4 player tg4.ie/player and catch-up services.

The preview, presented by Denis Kirwan, includes features on the main Willie Mullins-trained runners at the festival, Barry Connell on Marine Nationale’s bid to follow up his Champion Chase success, trainer Anthony McCann and jockey Sean Flanagan on Luminous Light, owned by a syndicate of school teachers from New Ross, who is bidding to win one of the festival’s big prizes while many of the UK’s top trainer discuss their plans to take on the home team. Analysis is provided by Donn McClean and Cárthach Bán Breathnach.
