Danny Gilligan delivered a 19/1 double at Ballinrobe’s first meeting of 2025, partnering the Cian Collins-trained Impero to victory in the featured McGrath Limestone Works Handicap Hurdle.

The six-year-old, in the colours of Dick and Angie O’Sullivan, mastered favourite Extrapolation, who charted a wide course throughout under Danny Mullins to score by two and a quarter lengths.
