Cork jockey Michael O'Sullivan remains in intensive care following a serious fall at Thurles on Thursday February 7.

O’Sullivan was riding Wee Charlie for Gerard O’Leary in the second race of the day and fell at the last in the two-mile Racing Again February 20th Handicap Chase. He was airlifted to Cork University Hospital were he has been receiving medical treatment in the intensive care unit.

IHRB issued a statement on X Saturday morning saying "Michael's family remain by his bedside at Cork University Hospital and continue to be very grateful for all the support which they are receiving.

"There is no change in Michael's condition today and any updates will be communicated on behalf of the O'Sullivan family by the IHRB."
