Opportunity knocks for O’ Bon Pardon at Fairyhouse

On a tricky Saturday card in Fairyhouse, O’ Bon Pardon, who contests the CCR Raceday Maiden Hurdle, makes most appeal. The lightly-raced five-year-old made his debut in the Goffs Defender Bumper at the Punchestown festival and ran a race full of promise in finishing sixth behind Sermandzarak.

Off from that until disappointing in a Galway bumper in late October, he was better on his hurdling debut at Punchestown and better again on his most recent start, when a close fourth behind Interchangeable in a maiden hurdle in Naas.
