Grooveykindoflove can land Thurles spoils

Thurles hosts the last pre-Christmas meeting for 2024, though why it is a better fit on Saturday rather than Sunday is questionable. The nap goes to the Henry de Bromhead-trained Grooveykindoflove, who can get the recently-returned Rachael Blackmore back amongst the winners by taking the Horse & Jockey Hotel Rated Novice Hurdle.
The selection was a touch frustrating in her first four outings, finishing second on three consecutive occasions, but the step up to almost three miles worked the oracle when she ran out an easy winner just 30 days ago over course and distance. There is plenty more to come from the five-year-old and she looks quite well treated off an introductory mark of 112.
