Without a win for almost two years, the Mouse Morris-trained French Dynamite bounced back to winning ways when making most of the running to beat seasonal debutants Minella Indo and Hewick in the Grade Three  BetVictor Chase in Punchestown.

The Mark Walsh-ridden nine-year-old, backed into 7-2, jumped impeccably in front and stayed on well in the closing stages to triumph by two and a quarter lengths in a race which saw favourite Conflated genuflect and unseat Jack Kennedy at the first.
